The Organic Cotton Training Curriculum is a collaboration between OCA and FiBL, funded by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, aimed at supporting organic cotton farm projects in India. The curriculum has been developed with a participatory approach in consultation with over 15 farm groups, experts and like-minded organizations working on sustainable farming practices in India. This initiative demonstrates OCA’s commitment to strengthening the organic cotton sector. By actively investing in capacity building efforts, the organisations hope to accelerate a positive multiplier effect. Better-trained extension teams, better farmer support, stronger farming communities, better decision making and therefore, a healthier rural environment that supports profitability for the farmers and the planet.
